Dr. Trent Daiber, OD

Doctor of Optometry · Russellville, AR native
Eye care should feel like a conversation, not an assembly line.

Dr. Daiber graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in 2021 after earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas. While training with his school and other eye institutes, he focused on ocular disease and surgical care — hands-on experience that grounds the advanced eye health work he does today.

Optometry runs in the family: his mother, uncle, and sister are all optometrists too. But he chose the field for his own reasons — the chance to actually connect with people, and a fascination with the neurological side of vision, an area medicine is still actively learning about.

He chose Pea Ridge on purpose. Rural communities are more connected, and that's the kind of practice he wanted to build — one where patients are easy to talk to, visits have energy, and people leave feeling heard. When he's not in the clinic, he's usually outdoors cycling or bow hunting, and he's a proud member of the Pea Ridge Lions Club.

How soon can I get an appointment?+

Same-week appointments are often available for routine exams, and we accommodate eye emergencies as quickly as possible — usually same-day.

Book online to see real-time availability, or call us directly.

What should I bring to my first visit?+

Please bring your insurance card, a photo ID, your current glasses or contact lenses, and a list of any medications you're taking. If you've had previous eye care, your last prescription is helpful but not required.

Do you see kids? At what age?+

Yes — we see patients of all ages. We typically recommend a child's first comprehensive eye exam around age 3, with follow-ups before kindergarten and annually thereafter.

For children with progressing nearsightedness, ask us about our myopia control program.

Do I need a referral to be seen?+

No referral is needed for most exams. If your specific insurance plan requires one, our staff will help you sort that out — just give us a call.
