Ozark Eye sits at the northeast edge of Benton County — an easy drive from Bentonville, Rogers, and just over the Missouri line. Patients come to us from across the region for comprehensive eye care, specialty contact lens fittings, dry eye treatment, and pediatric exams.
Most NWA patients have closer options on paper. Here's why people from Bentonville, Rogers, Bella Vista, and beyond choose Ozark Eye instead.
Dr. Daiber sees every patient personally. No rotating providers, no rushed handoffs between exam rooms. The same doctor at every visit — that's hard to find in larger NWA practices.
Most comprehensive exams take 45 to 60 minutes here. We don't double-book, and we don't rush — patients consistently say it's the first time their doctor explained their findings instead of handing them a prescription on the way out.
Comprehensive exams, dry eye treatment, scleral and specialty contact lens fittings, myopia control with Ortho-K, pediatric care, headache and vision evaluations, and emergency eye care — all under one roof, without the wait of a larger practice.
Free parking right at the door. No multi-floor medical building, no waiting in lobbies. Most patients are in and out faster than they would be at a chain optical or a larger practice.
We're proud to serve patients across Northwest Arkansas and the surrounding region. Here's a closer look at the communities we see regularly.
Ozark Eye has called Pea Ridge home since opening. We're located at 455 Slack Street — a quick drive from anywhere in town.
Pea Ridge is a small, tight-knit community in the northeast corner of Benton County, and we've built the practice to match — personal, family-oriented, and built around relationships rather than volume. Local families, students, retirees, and Pea Ridge Battlefield visitors all make up part of our patient base.
Bentonville patients regularly make the 15-minute drive up Highway 72 to Ozark Eye. While Bentonville has plenty of large optical chains and busy multi-doctor practices, many patients tell us they prefer the personal feel of a single-doctor practice — particularly for specialty care like dry eye treatment or scleral contact lens fittings that benefit from continuity with one doctor.
Whether you're in central Bentonville, near Crystal Bridges, or in one of the surrounding neighborhoods, the drive to Pea Ridge is straightforward and the parking is easier than what you'll find downtown.
Rogers patients are about 20 minutes from our door. Like Bentonville, Rogers has its share of larger practices and chain opticals — but for patients who want a slower-paced visit, a doctor who remembers them, and the time to actually talk through findings, Ozark Eye fills a different niche. Specialty patients (keratoconus, severe dry eye, complex contact lens fittings) often travel from Rogers specifically because we offer services they can't get nearby.
Bella Vista is one of our closer neighbors — about 20 minutes through Garfield. We see a lot of Bella Vista patients for routine comprehensive exams, eye disease monitoring (glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease are common in our retiree-heavy NWA region), and prescription eyewear. For older patients managing chronic eye conditions, continuity of care with one doctor over years matters — and that's what we offer.
Centerton patients are about 25 minutes from our door — a short trip up through Bentonville. Centerton has grown quickly in recent years, and many families have moved into the area looking for community-feeling healthcare. We see Centerton families for pediatric exams, myopia control programs for their kids, and comprehensive care across all ages.
Cave Springs patients drive about 30 minutes to us — a manageable trip for the specialty care and personal attention they're looking for. Like other NWA communities, Cave Springs has grown rapidly, and many residents commute through Bentonville anyway. Combining an eye exam with errands in Bentonville or Rogers makes the trip easy.
Garfield is one of our closest neighbors — about 10 minutes away — and we see a steady stream of patients from the community. We also see patients regularly from across the Missouri state line in Barry County (Cassville, Seligman, Washburn, Eagle Rock, Shell Knob), where local eye care options are limited and the drive to Pea Ridge is often faster than driving deeper into Missouri.
Bentonville is about 15 minutes away via Highway 72. Rogers is about 20 minutes via Highway 62/94. Both are easy, mostly straight drives — and parking at Ozark Eye is far easier than parking at most central Bentonville or Rogers medical buildings.
Yes. We regularly see patients from across Barry County, Missouri — including Cassville, Seligman, Washburn, Eagle Rock, and Shell Knob. For many cross-border patients, the drive to Pea Ridge is shorter than driving to a larger Missouri practice. We accept Missouri-based vision and medical insurance plans.
Most NWA patients have closer options on paper, but choose Ozark Eye for specific reasons: a single-doctor practice means continuity over years; longer appointment times mean we explain what we find instead of rushing you out; and our specialty services (scleral lenses for keratoconus, advanced dry eye treatment, myopia control with Ortho-K) aren't available at every local practice. For routine eye care, any decent local OD will do. For specialty care or for patients who want a more personal experience, the drive is usually worth it.
We accept most major vision and medical insurance plans — including VSP, EyeMed, Davis Vision, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare, Arkansas Medicaid, Aetna, Humana, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, and more.
